Course Information

Introduction

Learn the core tools and workflows of Autodesk 3ds Max for modeling, texturing, lighting and basic animation. The course is project-based so you complete a usable asset and renders. You will gain skills you can apply to architectural visualization, game assets, and product rendering.

Objectives

1. Build accurate 3D models using polygon, spline and modifier workflows.
2. Unwrap UVs, apply materials and prepare textures for realistic renders.
3. Set up lighting, cameras and render settings for production-quality stills.
4. Create basic keyframe animations and camera moves for presentations and turntables.
5. Export and optimize assets and render outputs for common pipelines (engines, compositing, portfolio).

Who Should Attend?

Architectural visualizer
Junior 3D artist or generalist
Interior designer producing client renderings
Product / industrial designer creating concept visuals
Entry-level game asset or environment artist

Training Method

• Pre-assessment
• Live group instruction
• Use of real-world examples, case studies and exercises
• Interactive participation and discussion
• Power point presentation, LCD and flip chart
